NABE 2014 Proposal Submission

Please review the following information, as some of our procedures have changed.

Primary Presenter and Co-Presenter(s): The user profile used to submit this proposal will be listed as the Primary Presenter for the proposal, and will receive all notifications regarding the proposal. Do NOT submit a proposal using your user profile if you are NOT the Primary Presenter. Please review the Primary Presenter Responsibilities before submitting your proposal. (Please note that Co-Presenter(s) will not receive proposal notifications).

Primary Presenter Responsibilities: It is the responsibility of all primary presenters to ensure that all co- presenters on their proposal receive any and all pertinent information regarding the proposal (all notifications will be sent to the email address for the primary presenter). Additionally, it is the responsibility of the primary presenter to ensure that all presenters on their proposal are registered for the conference. If all proposal presenters (including secondary presenters) are not registered by November 15, 2013, the presentation will be cancelled.

Presentation Limit: EACH presenter is allowed a TOTAL of (2) presentations, including presentations in which they are co-presenters. If a presenters submits more than (2) proposals, the additional proposals will not be submitted for review.

Conference Registration: NABE does not waive registration fees for presenters. All accepted presenters must be registered for the conference. The deadline for presenter registration is November 15, 2013. If all proposal presenters (including co-presenters) are not registered by November 15, 2013, the presentation will be cancelled.

Lodging and Travel: All accepted presenters are responsible for their own lodging and travel. NABE will neither arrange nor provide funding for presenter lodging and/or travel.

Audio Visual Equipment Order: All presentation rooms will be equipped with an LCD projector, screen, and electrical cables at no cost. Laptop computers will NOT be provided. If you will need to use a computer as part of your presentation please bring your own or personally make arrangements to rent one. Presenters will be responsible for the costs and arrangements for any additional equipment needed for their session(s). NABE will not be handling audio-visual equipment orders, nor will they provide technical assistance. A conference vendor for such equipment will be enlisted. We will provide information for this vendor in notification for accepted proposals.

Meeting Room Internet Service: NABE will NOT be providing internet service for meeting rooms. If you require internet service for your presentation, a conference vendor for internet service will be enlisted. We will provide information for this vendor in notification for accepted proposals.


To ensure a fair and anonymous review, do NOT include any identifying information such as name, title or organization, in your proposal title or abstract. Proposals which contain identifying information in the title and/or abstract will be disqualified.
