Board Certification Exam
Date: Sunday, June 9, 2024

The INCE Professional Exam will be offered on the Sunday preceeding NOISE-CON 2024, The exam is open to pre-approved candidates seeking to become INCE Board Certified. INCE Board Certification requirements and application instruction are available at https://www.inceusa.org/board-certification/about

Applications for the June 9th exam are due by March 1, 2024.

The Accompanying Persons Program is designed and intended for significant others who would like to join you at NOISE-CON24 but aren't interested in the educational or technical sessions! Registration includes access to the exhibit hall, an invitation to the Monday evening reception in the exhibit hall, and an invitation to the Accompanying Persons Breakfast on Monday morning. During the breakfast, options will be described for visiting the many historical, architectural, and cultural sites in New Orleans.

Women in Noise Control Engineering Lunch

While the demographics in engineering are slowing changing for the better, the number of women in noise control engineering is much lower than we desire. This is a chance to get together with women working in noise control engineering or related fields, enjoy lunch and chat about challenges and opportunities.

The purpose of the informational breakfast will be to provide information on the requirements and process to become INCE Board Certified. We welcome all individuals interested in learning more about the Board Certification Program as well as current INCE Board Certified Individuals and members of the INCE-USA Certification Board.

Technical Tour
Date: Tuesday, June 11, 2024
Time: Afternoon - TBD

This tour will include stops at several renovated theatres and a construction site with challenging noise isolation targets. Additional details will be available on the NOISE-CON 2024 web site as they become available.

Geoge Maling Memorial Session
Date: Tuesday, June 11, 2024
Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM | *Reception to follow from 5 - 6 PM.
This session will celebrate the many contributions made by George Maling to the field of acoustics and noise control and to the Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the USA.

Creole Queen Jazz Cruise

Step back into the glamour and romance of the riverboat era with a cruise aboard the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen!
